Plus500 full fee list
Every fee Plus500 may charge, with the official schedule linked below.
- Buy/sell spread
- The main cost of trading: the difference between the buy and sell price, incorporated into Plus500's quoted rates rather than charged as a separate fee. It varies by instrument and market conditions โ Plus500 gives EUR/USD as an example with a market spread of 0.6 pips.
- Overnight funding
- An amount added to or subtracted from your account when a leveraged position is held past a set time each day. It is calculated from the trade size, opening rate and a daily overnight-funding percentage that varies by instrument and direction.
- Currency conversion fee
- Charged when you trade an instrument denominated in a currency different from your account currency. It is currently up to 0.7% of the trade's realised net profit and loss.
- Inactivity fee
- Up to USD 10 per month, levied if you do not log in to your trading account for a period of at least three months, and monthly thereafter until you log in again.
- Guaranteed stop order (GSO)
- An optional order that guarantees your position closes at the exact rate you set. Because it removes slippage risk, it is subject to a wider spread on that position.
- Deposit & withdrawal fees
- Plus500 covers most processing fees. Third parties โ your bank or payment issuer โ may still charge for international card transactions, bank transfers or currency conversions; these are levied by them, not by Plus500.

Plus500 Trading Costs Explained
Understanding Plus500's fee structure is essential before opening an account. The minimum spread starts at 0.6 pips, which is competitive compared to the industry. The broker operates on a spread-only model with no per-trade commission.
For deposits, Plus500 does not charge any deposit fees. Withdrawals are free of charge. Note that additional swap or overnight financing charges apply to leveraged positions held beyond market close, and an inactivity fee may be charged after prolonged periods of no trading.
When evaluating total trading costs, consider your typical trade frequency and position size. A broker with tighter spreads but a per-lot commission may be cheaper for large positions, while a spread-only model often works better for smaller or less frequent trades.
